Our
Mission Statement
We sell, install and service POS systems to the hospitality industry.
We treat customers, vendors and employees with dignity, honor and respect.
We strive to provide a consistent product to our customers from the first
stages of the sales cycle, to the implementation of the system, through the
on-going support required to service the account.
We strive to create an environment that is challenging and stimulating for staff
to develop and grow.
Kemal Kelemet founded DataWave in 1996 as a service organization supporting
hospitality Point of Sale systems. In 1997 DataWave was awarded the Chicago
dealership for the Aloha market. By 2004 DataWave was a member of the
Quincentennial Club having installed over 500 Aloha POS systems. Kemal is
currently serving on the Radiant Reseller Advisory Board.
The Data Wave team is a cross section of talented, highly experienced
hospitality industry professionals with demonstrated knowledge, certification,
and success on all Radiant and Aloha products.
Sales
Our sales staff is dedicated to creating unique solutions that meet the
specific needs of each customer. With over 75 cumulative years of experience in
the hospitality industry, our professional sales staff partners with our
customers to bring innovation and creativity to identifying and solving the
customers' problems.
Project Management
The Project Management Department is responsible for the smooth and
successful implementation of the Aloha system at the customer's site. With 45
years of combined experiences, our Project Managers embrace the 'train the
trainer' philosophy. Our goal is to help the customer become independent as
quickly as possible. Our Project Managers work closely with each site to ensure
the customer is getting the maximum performance and data management from their
Aloha system. Our participation includes database training, management training
on back of house functions, management training on front of house functions,
support for staff training, review of environmental variables and live day
support, followed up with a post-live review of system performance and
transition to the Help Desk Department.
Help Desk
The Help Desk Department is staffed by professional phone support
technicians. Together, they have 35 years of professional phone support
experience. Our phone support technicians recognize that timely resolutions of
help desk issues is critical to successfully running a business on a day to day
basis. Through the use of a call balancing phone system, remote access via phone
lines and the internet, we process a large volume of calls with speed and
efficiency.
Service
The service department staff totals 55 years in the hospitality POS
industry. The service department has two teams - system installers and service
technicians. All members of the service department maintain hardware
certification requirements defined by Aloha. The system installation team
performs the hardware installation of the Aloha system. The install team works
closely with the project management team. The nuances of each site are carefully
conveyed from the project manager to the lead installer to ensure a successful
and professional installation.
The service technicians are dispatched for field service work when on-site
support is required. Detailed communication between the help desk staff and
service staff ensures the technician is prepped, supplied with materials and
ready for a successful and efficient service call. We strive for field
expediency to reduce disruption of your business.
